A Clear Pricing Policy
We believe that any pricing policy should be completely transparent so that you are aware of exactly what you will receive for the price we are quoting.
Our final itineraries clearly state what our price is and what is included. You will then be aware, from the onset, what additional costs, if any, you will have to bear.
Hotels are booked on a dinner bed and breakfast basis and the daily programmes include lunch on most days, entrance to all attractions visited and the services of expert tour managers and local guides.
All our prices are for land tours and do not include the cost of return travel to the country in which the tour operates.
Transfers to and from airports of entry are included.
Personalised Tour Packages
Group Tour Organisers often require a tour packages to meet the special interest needs of their Group or organisation. These are seldom to be found ‘off the shelf’.
To meet this demand, Ambient Tours provides a personalised and tailor made tour service. Just tell us what the cultural and heritage interests of your group are. We will then design an itinerary to fully meet your content, quality and price requirements.
This service is available to both UK based and incoming Group Tour Organisers.
What is the Minimum and Maximum Group Size?
Experience has taught us that if a group is too large it is difficult to manage visits to many of the historic venues. If the group is too small it is almost impossible deliver the tour benefits without a price supplement.
For this reason, the minimum Group size is 20 or more passengers and the maximum we prefer to operate with is 30.
With these numbers there will be no other Ambient Tours clients booked on your coach without your agreement.
Our Timing Policy
Many of the historic venues and cultural destinations that are visited during our tours are not open all the year round. Most open from the beginning of April to the end of October when the weather is milder and better for outdoor exploration. Our tours follow the same pattern.
During the peak holiday periods of July and August, and at weekends, many popular destinations can be very overcrowded.
For this reason, we avoid the peak period and most of our 7-day tours start on a Sunday and finish on a Saturday. Shorter tours are scheduled during the week.
