We have a number of ideas that include ‘The Castles of Kent’, ‘Ironbridge Gorge Industrial Heritage', ‘The Abbeys of Yorkshire’ and ‘The Gardens of England’. Other packages we are able to develop for you include Myths & Legends featuring the likes of ‘King Arthur and the Round Table’ and ‘The Stories of Robin Hood and Sherwood Forest’.

Special Interest tours are available as one day excursions or overnight packages.

The hotels, restaurants and bars, where you will stay or eat, have been specially selected by us because of the ambience of their surroundings, the excellence of their service and the quality of their food.

Every effort has been made to ensure that our itineraries allow you plenty of time to relax and enjoy the scenery either when travelling in your luxury air conditioned coach, or on reaching your destination.

Ironbridge Gorge Industrial Heritage

Ironbridge is situated within a dramatic gorge, on a beautiful stretch of the River Severn, in the English county of Shropshire. It is dominated by the famous Iron Bridge built by Abraham Darby III. Opened in 1779, it is the world’s first cast-iron bridge.

Within the same gorge, Darby’s grandfather, and then his father, perfected the art of smelting iron using coke to dramatically reduce the manufacturing cost. Producing iron the Darby way was to prove pivotal during the Industrial Revolution that followed.

For Groups and individual travellers who are interested in industrial heritage, a visit to Ironbridge and the surrounding area is not to be missed.

Our ‘Ironbridge Gorge Industrial Heritage’ Tour includes visits to the Ironbridge Gorge Museum, Blist Hill Victorian Town, Jackfield Tile and Coalport China Museums. Also included is a tour of the ancient town of Much Wenlock birthplace of Dr William Penny Brookes who inspired the foundation of the Modern Olympic Movement.

Like all our tour packages, it can be specially tailored to meet your specific needs and budgetary requirements.
