Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, is known as the white city or the city of light. It is a city of contrasts combining modern architecture with richly decorated palaces, picturesque renaissance churches, castles, monasteries, convents and impressive 18th century buildings and avenues. All this sits atop seven hills and faces the majestic Tagus River.

Built on the steep bank of the Douro River, Porto is much more than the centre of the Port wine industry; it is also the undisputed capital of the north of Portugal and gateway to the Douro valley and the cultural heritage of the whole country. The city boasts numerous hotels, cafes and restaurants. The narrow streets of the old town have led it being designated a UNESCO World Heritage City.

Ideally situated in the middle of the Mediterranean, Malta boasts superb hotels excellent restaurants, friendly people and a rich historical heritage. They also drive on the left hand side of the road and English is one of the official languages. Your Cultural and heritage experience starts the moment you arrive on the island.
