History

Robin Dilley Associates (RDA) was set up in 1991 and quickly established an excellent reputation throughout the country for its work in championing the cause of good marketing practice. From the very beginning, RDA handled a diverse number of special events on behalf of its clients including:-

  • Sports sponsorship
  • Business anniversary themed events
  • Sales meetings
  • Management training seminars
  • Skills transfer workshops
  • Conferences

This not only bought RDA into close contact with event support companies across the UK and international markets, it also enabled the partners in the organization to hone their specialized skills to enable them to satisfy the needs of their customers in these areas. In addition, an excellent database of international venues, specialist service providers and event support companies was developed.

As event management became an increasingly important part of the business, Senior Partner, Robin Dilley and his team of Associates identified that a gap existed for a new type of Events Management Company.

As a result, Ambient Events Limited was incorporated in October 2004 to provide a hands-on, professional planning and event implementation service for businesses in the UK and international markets.
